Don't Settle For Little; You Can Have More!

If God is your Father, why don't you ask of him?

A life with purpose is a directed life. Some wish to go through life like a bird, while some others wish to go through it like an elephant. Why the comparison?
The bird can swiftly fly past and go unrecognized but the elephant surely will draw attention and for a long time, people will recall that an enormous being once walked their way.

Taking a cue from the scriptures, there are people who ordinarily would have been of no repute on earth but they would not settle for some immediacy but would rather live the earth, achievers or world changers. It all begins with WILL. When I say will I mean, the sheer determination to do beyond what you can. God has a will for us and that will is for us to prosper and be in good health. His will is that we come to our full potentials. His will is that we become what he has destined us to be and that is, BE LIKE HIM! GOD has put within us his nature and though sin stole it, Jesus gave it back to us!

In all of life's struggle, we can be victorious if only we WILL! If you will it, you win it! There is a glory ahead of you and only when we deeply seek God from within us with hunger and passion, like Jabez who would not just want to remain poor like Lazarus, he prayed and said, Lord, "oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested!" (1Chro.4:10) Hallelujah! Simply have a will not be what you don't want to be which is outside of God's plan for your life!

God answers prayers but not prayers that are outside his will. James said, "and even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are all wrong, you want only what will give you pleasure" (4:3). God is principled, and his principles are very simple; "What you do, you get rewarded accordingly". If you play by the rules of the game, you win fair and square, no two ways! God is not a man that he should lie.

Hold God by His Word. Trust Him! Believe Him! All those who come before him must come believing that he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him! Don't Settle for cucumbers when you have a land flowing with milk and honey waiting for you!
