HEAVENLY PLACES 2

Here's the continuation of the last post..

THE NEED: When we said on both sides there was a need, we simply meant, that God and man needed to come back together. God longed for fellowship and man longed for worship. The master plan was for man to dominate and in the end give/bring God glory, long before the mistake was made by man. That being stated, the other of things being reversed, God made a way by sending us His Son Jesus. This Jesus was to do these things, live like man, die for man, rise from the dead, and seat by the Father making intercessions for us; THE SOLUTION.

               The coming of Jesus was to pave a new way for man’s restoration to the glory we shared with the Father, “and the glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one”, (John. 17:22 NKJV). That was the aim and to do this blood was required. A sinless blood and only Jesus blood was fit for the purpose. He died in the most rebellious way ever but as willed by the Father, (Luke 22:41-44). The bible says that at the point when He hung on the cross, he gave up the ghost immediately after He said, “IT IS FINISHED!” The heavens were darkened, the temple curtains were torn from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, (Matt. 27:51), the ultimate price has been paid! In one fell swoop, the graves were opened, the captives of death were delivered as Jesus fought the final battle with death. He overcame sin, death and after the third day, Satan; and took with Him the keys of death! (1 Cor. 15:54-57, Col. 2:15). Hallelujah!

THE PLACE OF POWER: I get goose bumps when I recall the incidence at the cross and the grave and at the resurrection. When Jesus ascended, He made a simple but powerful comment; “ALL POWER is given unto me in heaven and in earth”, (Matt. 28:18). Not some power but all power! And where is He, flip to Mark 16:19c, “….and sat on the RIGHT HAND OF GOD”, the right hand of righteousness, the right hand of power! And then what?

THE AUTHORITY & THE BELIEVER’S AUTHORITY: Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:17-18; “Go into the world, teach all nations, baptize them in name of THE TRINITY, (FATHER, SON & SPIRIT). In His name cast out demons, speak in new tongues, take up serpents, drink deadly things it can’t harm you, heal the sick” and many more! I wish I could describe it to you, but it’s indescribable! I wish I could explain it to you, but it’s inexplicable! It’s Unfathomable! The power that we have comes from the Throne of Grace. The following scriptures should guide you to the Lord better!
